The Four Banal is a banality! Not in the sense that we hear it now, but in the sense that it was understood in the French feudal system. The platitudes could be furnaces, mills or presses. These were facilities that the lord had to maintain and keep at the disposal of his subjects, who had to pay for it. Today, the typical Cassis oven is located in the heart of the historic fisherman's quarter. Its conservation and dimensions are remarkable and allow a dip in history and a better understanding of the cassidaine life in the th century. Archaeological excavations have made it possible to release many ceramic objects that confirm the existence in this area of an active port between the first and the century after Jesus Christ.

Fermé le mercredi après-midi et les jours fériés mieux vaut se renseigner avant de s'y rendre. Beau témoignage du passé dans un très bon état.
