Superb castle with swimming pool, private terrace and luxurious suites, ideal for families facing the port of Cassis.

This beautiful castle, which belonged to the Michelin family for 35 years before being sold is perched facing the port of Cassis, backing on to the Canaille. The view is magnificent and the change of scenery total. The origins of the castle date back to the Roman era which remains of columns, stone walls, arches, bring an exceptional charm to the site. Add to this the top-of-the-range equipment, it has an outdoor pool, and you will easily understand that your stay can only be exceptional. The castle has five very luxurious suites. The Camille suite, with a double bed and a simple bed, and a sitting room. It is suitable for families. The La Tour and Jean-Baptiste suites have a large room, a lounge area and a private terrace from where the view is breathtaking. The Romantique suite offers a large lounge with private terrace as well as a huge room with also a beautiful view. And finally, the Chloé suite breaks down into a sitting room, two closed double rooms and a large private terrace, still with a sumptuous view. Beautiful and princely.

You won't find a hotel in Cassis with a better view, or many hotels anywhere else in the world for that matter. The chateau is fantastic and the rooms are quite spacious. We could've stayed there many more nights if we'd had the time! It's a relatively short walk into town (10 mins) and lots of good dinner options close by. Spacious parking, too, but the tiny road to the Chateau is super narrow! Drive a small car if you can.

Lieu juste magnifique. Une vue à 360° époustouflante sur la mer et Cassis. A réserver en sachant qu'il n'y a pas de service hormis le petit dèj. Prévoir les repas au restaurant ce qui est loin d'être désagréable à Cassis...

Incredible hotel with great service and amazing views. The pool is wonderful and the breakfast is great as well. The chateau looks over the city and is just a quick walk into the town but do note it’s pretty steep (more than worth it!). We had a car and it was very easy to locate and park. Remy was very communicative and helpful. One of the most peaceful, unique, and beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The most breathtakingly beautiful and well maintained place we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Remy greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the grounds and was available whenever we needed anything. The room was perfect in every way - climate, amenities, very comfortable bed, and the view is unbeatable. And to somehow top all of that, the continental breakfast was the perfect additional touch. We liked that access is limited to guests since it makes the place feel more secure and serene. We took a taxi from Marseille to get here and walked the rest of our stay there. We had no trouble with walking up and down the hill. Town is just a short walk away, no more than 10 minutes even with breaks. Great value for the price per night, especially compared to what some of the 5 star hotels charge and they are no where near as nice as Chateau de Cassis. Would highly recommend and would love to return!
