Gardens created around 1640, combining the Italian Renaissance tradition with the spirit of the French garden

Classified as a historic monument, the Jardins d'Albertas, created around 1640, combine the Italian Renaissance tradition with the spirit of the French garden developed by Le Nôtre. Still owned by the Albertas family, they have been preserved exactly as they were three centuries ago. Organized like a theater, with a succession of four terraces, decorated with statues, basins and pruned trees. The 17-spout basin is a masterpiece of fountain art. The next edition of the Plant Days will take place on May 24, 25 and 26. Admission fees help with upkeep!

Opening time and information on GARDENS OF ALBERTAS

Remarkable garden. Closed from November to April. In May, September and October: Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 2 to 6 pm. In June, July and August : every day from 3pm to 7pm. Low season: open weekends and holidays from 2pm to 6pm. High season: every day from 1pm to 7pm. Free until 7 years old. Adult : 5 €. Children (from 7 to 18 years old) : 4 €. Group (20 persons) : 3 €. Plant days: 9€; free -12 years old; reduced 12 to 16 years old; unemployed, RSA, Botanic card holder.

Un coin de nature et de culture

Les jardins d'Albertas sont ouverts au visiteur pour flâner (ce n'est pas gratuit) comme lors des nombreuses soirées qui y sont organisées. Musique, food trucks, plantes, et autres thèmes, il est plaisant de s'y perdre à de maintes occasions. Attention toutefois à être patient car la logistique de circulation est loin d'être parfaite et il y a de nombreux bouchons pour y accéder.

decouvrir la musique classique d'une autre manière :) c'était une très belle expérience, installés sur les pelouses, à la elle étoile Attention à arriver tôt il y a beaucoup de monde !!!!
