MANADE DE MÉJANES
The Domaine de Paul Ricard extends between the two parts of the Rhône stream over 600 hectares. The farmhouse is a fortified house in Templiers with buildings dating back to the eleventh century. You can therefore visit this area by small train on a 3.5 km loop by mountain biking, or on horseback and pony for children.. You can also have a seat and eat at the Le Méjanes restaurant.. The area finally offers a free walk on le sentier de Vaccarès in order to observe and admire the Camargue. In 2.5 km, you will be able to get as close to horses, coypus, rags, pink flames, egrets and herons, and thus you can enjoy a unique view of this space. But also every Wednesday in July and August, , « découverte de la manade » evenings occur . Finally, the kiosk and the reception centre offers regional and handicraft products (hats, wines, meats, rice from Méjanes, salt from Camargue, etc.) managed by an authentic Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer native.
