The opportunity to see Arlésiennes and gardians in costumes, and to admire the cribs and santons of Provence.

The Salon des Santonniers is organized in Arles every year from the beginning of December to the end of January. The opening and closing of the Salon are two important events in the folk life of Arles. It is the occasion to see Arlesian women and herdsmen in costume, for our greatest pleasure. The international association of the Salon des Santonniers, which organizes this event, aims to make known and appreciate the cribs and santons of Provence, from all regions of France and from all countries. This fair is a joy for children and adults.
