Forgot the museum at 6 Espariat Street, in the city centre, transferred in 2014, at Saint-Mitre Park, in Jas de Bouffan district. The site is undergoing global development, the first phase of which was the opening in October 2014 of the Peiresc planetarium with a 8-metre diameter dome, the largest in the region. After this ambitious development, the museum will open its exhibition rooms in a building of 2 500 m 2, by 2020! In the meantime, it welcomes the public at the centre of the scientific culture centre which houses, besides the planetarium, children's workshops on astronomy, prehistory, paleontology, biodiversity, but also conferences on the second Thursday of each month. In addition, events (Museum Night, Film Festival on the Environment, Science party, etc.) are organized in the park.
