This association comes from the venerable éponyme association, cultural vocation, born in Rome in 1889, which continues with ramifications around the world. In Aix it is a melting pot of Italian language and culture. The Dante Alighieri Association organises trips to Italy, exhibition visits, concert evenings and even scrabble tournaments… Italian, Evidentemente! But the most successful activity is Italian courses (listen, speak, read, write) to the Faculty of Economics, 14 Jules-Ferry Avenue, every night of the week (5 levels). Some prefer the circolo formula, the conversation circle, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday late in the afternoon at the Ligourès. Members have the library of the association where to consult or borrow works on-site. And if you're diligent and workers, you'll learn to talk with your hands and cook pasta al dente. And even the sauce that goes with it!
