Created in 2009, Aix Athlé Provence is the fruit of a long history between Aix-en-Provence and athletics. Since the merger between the AUC Athletics and the ASA Athletics of 1972 and 1974 which will have given the Water from Aix and then Aix Athletics, by the merger between Aix Athletics and the ASPTT Macadam in 1999, the club has many roots. It now has more than 1 000 members and offers several disciplines: athletics school, Nordic walking, running off stadium, trail. On the menu: run, jump, run, in the stadium, in the city or in the countryside. Young people are not forgotten with the discovery pole, between 4 and 14 years old, which initially proposes fun activities and games. The club organises several sporting events, including Aix strides, the Nocturnes Nocturnes, the Enduranne, and the last born: the Trail trail.
