At a time when independent bookstores are struggling to survive, the one in the Hôtel Boyer d'Eguilles has strengthened the Aix-en-Provence offer in the heart of the city. Located in the mezzanine of this 17th century mansion, the LHBE is a combination of a general bookshop and a café-restaurant. You can stroll with pleasure -as if you were in a friendly library- through the different rooms dedicated to books, about 25000 references. As for the restaurant, you can sit down in this superb setting or on the terrace for a dish of the day, afternoon tea or a Sunday brunch.

lieu magique
Cette librairie nichée dans le sous-sol de l'hôtel particulier qui abritait naguère le Museum d'Histoire Naturelle est un lieu magique ; on se croirait dans une bibliothèque secrète, qui recèle des trésors cachés. Belle "mise en scène" des livres proposés, sélectionnés avec une grande perspicacité dans tous les domaines.
