A hidden garden, tasty market cuisine, a place to share that's as welcoming as a friend's home, this is a restaurant we recommend in the heart of Aix, a stone's throw from the Place des Cardeurs. You'll be delighted by seasonal vegetables, eggplant stuffed with baby vegetables or confit with apricots and thyme, simmered dishes such as veal sauté with olives or tender, tasty pork cheek, and fish in sauce vierge. The fruit desserts, in this case the apricot crumble with almonds, tested for you, didn't make a crease, just like Bernard's Crousti-Coco, an essential verrine among the perennial sweets on the menu.

My husband and I had a lovely evening here, the restaurant is beautiful and homey and the food is delicious and comforting. It was one of the best meals we have had in Aix. The staff are lovely as well.
We don’t speak much French and they don’t speak much English but it was no problem at all. I would recommend this place to anyone.
