Restaurant offering daring recipes in a refined setting 10 minutes from downtown.

Mathieu Dupuy Baumal, the Michelin-starred chef who moved to this superb Provencal bastide in Aix in 2019, is consolidating his art. His cuisine is bold, atypical some would say, technical, modern, in keeping with his assertive personality, determination and sporting spirit. Flavors merge, inspired by his travels. The plate, the wines and the setting do the rest. A wine estate, Château de la Gaude is also home to a 5-star hotel and spa, two other restaurants - Kaiseki and brasserie Le K - a cellar boutique and a wine bar.
