Bourgeois cuisine embodying French gastronomy with chef Pascal Barthelet in a refined restaurant in Aix-en-Provence.

La Maison Française, in place of the old stables in the Mazarin district, offers an elegant and warm setting for lunch or dinner, and in between, you can have tea, a snack or a cocktail. In charge of the kitchen, the young Franco-American chef Elodie Li works with beautiful products in bourgeois, even classic recipes to which she adds her own touch. The desserts are by Florian Grad (Pâtisserie Victoire in Puyricard). Opposite, the delicatessen of La Maison Française.

Message from Management

In the Mazarin district, downtown, is La Maison Française, a restaurant, a tea room and a cocktail bar. Its chef, Elodie Li, offers a creative cuisine, mixing her mastery of French techniques and her taste for the terroir. You can taste dishes of the moment, concocted with seasonal products and the catch of the day. Its tea room welcomes you throughout the day for gourmet moments with a wide choice of pastries and sweets. As for its cocktail bar, the bartender offers you a signature cocktail menu as well as all the classic cocktails such as dry martini, gin and tonic, mojito... We also discover a menu of French tapas. Moreover, this restaurant can be privatized for your group meals, business meals or for your family events.

Il s'agissait du menu déjeuner à 25€. Les plats étaient copieux et bons. Les desserts par contre étaient assez quelconques. Mais nous avons quand même un agréable moment.

Très déçu la carte ne correspondait pas au menu sur the Fork pas de loup aux fenouil on prends donc 2 coquilles St Jacques très décevant pour un plat à 34€ 3 petites St Jacques avec 25 grammes de riz risotto pas vraiment risotto après le plat on a toujours très faim puis deux desserts barres de mangue et chocolat moyen et cher et noix de coco enrobé de chocolat affreux enfin pour nous très déçu et pas à refaire

Une superbe découverte. Un dîner de grande qualité , cuisine originale et gourmande, accueil excellent. Le cadre et décor vont avec. Une très belle soirée.
