Gourmet and refined Provencal cuisine in a gourmet restaurant with terrace in Aix-en-Provence.

Welcome to the Table du Roi, restaurant of the Grand Hôtel du Roi René. A charming and luxurious stopover in the city center, the MGallery Grand Hôtel Roi René, whose origins date back to 1929, underwent a complete renovation in 2009. Its gourmet restaurant lives up to its reputation. La Table du Roi offers a gourmet and refined Provencal cuisine orchestrated with brio. The decoration is trendy, the welcome irreproachable and every detail of the setting up carefully. On the menu that day, divine scallops with Asian flavors. The menu offers a selection of seafood, the slab of lean meat with citrus butter, for example, while the butcher's selection offers a delicate mille-feuille of beef filet with Bandol wine. As for the sweets of Roi René, they complete the meal perfectly with this chocolate, dried fruit and pistachio ice cream aumônière. Finally, a little extra to end on a high note: the mini-calisson of Roy René and the chocolate of Puyricard, served with coffee. Provençal gastronomy in a luxurious, calm and beautiful setting... As soon as the weather is fine, the terrace is in bloom.

Lors de nos déplacements à Aix en Provence , il est hors de question d aller dans un autre hôtel . Nous passons des séjours incroyable et de qualité dans cet établissement très bien situé ! Confort et propreté remarquables, sans parler de la restauration exquise. Un grand merci à toute les différentes équipes pour leur travail exceptionnel qui fait de cet endroit un véritable havre de paix. Mention spéciale à Mehdi et Alicia pour leur accueil , leur professionnalisme et leur attention aux détails . Le petit déjeuner est un pur délice!

Un peu déçue. J’ai trouvé que pour un 4 étoiles c’était insuffisant.
Les chambres De luxe donc plus chères ont un vis à vis énorme sur des appartements privés. Je n’ai pas aimé la salle de bain avec baignoire et pommeau de douche à l’ancienne, pas pratique du tout.
Le point noir est également le petit déjeuner où toute la partie sucrée (sauf les viennoiseries) est surgelée.
Inadmissible!
Néanmoins l’hôtel est bien placé et le restaurant correct.

Très bel hôtel. Situation top pour découvrir la ville. L'accueil, le personnel au petit soin, la qualité des chambres et du petit-déjeuner. Tout était parfait.
