Home-made cooking with fresh products in a restaurant located in the center of Aix.
The setting has a lot of allure with a semi-open kitchen on the dining room; Joris Vasserot, the owner of La Bouchée, is also an ironworker, he realized the glass roof, the lights, the tables in beautiful materials. On the slate, small dishes such as guinea fowl supreme, mushroom and parmesan risotto or saddle of lamb stuffed with chard and pine nuts, cheeses from Maison Savelli and a creamy and crunchy lemon meringue pie to finish. Everything is homemade with fresh products, field vegetables (notably from the family farm in St Cannat), the foie gras - when it is on the menu - comes from a small producer in the Gers. The wines that accompany the dishes are carefully selected by Joris, and it is Paola, his companion, with her charming Italian accent, who welcomes you with a smile. Go there without hesitation on our part, it is one of our favorite places in Aix for a tête à tête or with friends because the atmosphere is both friendly and warm.
