home cooking based on fresh produce in a friendly bistro

The street isn't very busy, but it's well worth the detour to sit down in this friendly, gourmet bistro. Vaulted stone walls, bottles of red wine arranged on shelves on the walls, tables covered with a red gingham tablecloth. So much for the decor of this intimate bistro with a warm welcome. Simple but hearty home cooking using only the freshest ingredients. Suggestions of the moment: mimosa eggs, veal blanquette, homemade terrine, rice pudding or chocolate mousse based on grandma's recipes. A welcome return to childhood!

I stay in Aix every 6-months for work, and this restaurant has quickly become my go-to place whenever I am in town. Strongly recommend you try their Duck Confit and Apple Pie!

Génial à tous points de vue ???? : l'accueil est très chaleureux (tout comme la déco) et enjoué, la carte est pleine d'humour avec des noms de plats inspirés par des expressions françaises qui parlent à tous pour illustrer une belle cuisine traditionnelle terroir comme on aime !
Très bon rapport qualité/prix et un sens du service fidélisant avec des limoncello offerts avec l'addition, un restaurant qui aime vraiment faire plaisir à ses clients ???????????? merci et bravo !
