Traditional Ethiopian cuisine in a friendly and ethnic restaurant in Aix-en-Provence.
For the curious who like to discover other cultures, this small and discreet restaurant proposes an Ethiopian cuisine. Only traditional dishes like dorowot, chicken simmered for six hours. But also meat and vegetable dishes that can be shared with several people and eaten with the fingers, by dipping the traditional Injera (a kind of cake made from teff flour, a plant found only in Ethiopia). The decoration is sober and friendly and one hundred percent ethnic, with objects brought back by the warm Ama. The desserts are home-made. To discover, the Tej, cult drink of the country made of fermented honey.

Ça faisait plusieurs fois que je passais devant, j’ai enfin sauté le pas et je ne suis absolument pas déçue. J’ai été très bien accueilli et conseillé par la gérante sur les plats (viande, niveau de piment) et le plat était excellent ! Le rapport qualité/quantité/prix est imbattable.
J’ai aussi goûté le moelleux au chocolat vegan qui était excellent.
J’y retournerai avec grand plaisir pour goûter les autres plats.
