The culture of Servan perpetuated by local residents and the town council on the occasion of Sainte-Blaise.
Until the middle of the 20th century, Valbonne was essentially an agricultural village. Growing olives, vines and flowers provided a livelihood for the inhabitants. The cultivation of Servan, a late-ripening white grape imported from the South-West in 1910, had also been developed. To perpetuate this tradition, in 1995 the municipality created the Servan communal vineyard: 300 vines planted on a hillside well exposed to the Val de Cuberte. The grapes are harvested by municipal workers.
