An attractive, well-preserved memorial to the way violets were grown and used in Tourrettes-sur-Loup.
The Victoria violet, grown in Tourrettes-sur-Loup since 1880, blooms from mid-October to mid-March. La Bastide aux Violettes is a pretty, unspoilt place to remember, as well as a lively place to live. Here, you'll discover how this emblematic flower is grown, how it's used and the artisanal products made from violets. Guided tours, events and workshops are available on reservation. If you're here in winter, take the opportunity to admire and smell its delicate fragrance. It is possible to visit the greenhouses during the flowering season.
