This inn is in Roubion, in the heart of the Mercantour National Park and close to the Valberg ski area. Manu and Marie-France offer old-fashioned gourmet cuisine on a woodfire…all based on local products. What more could you ask for? Maybe, the pastries and the homemade bread that you will not be able to resist.

Feels like a tourist trap and we didn’t feel welcome at all - food is ok but overpriced and very limited choices and border line rude and definitely slow service in a weird setting… Only « real » and very old school restaurant in this charming village, which could explain why they are so overrated! Best to go to Breuil or Valberg… Nice village to visit but save your time and money!

Le 31 décembre nous avons trouvé ce restaurant par hasard, les autres aux alentours ont été complets. Le hasard fait bien les choses car nous nous sommes bien régalés ! Le resto ne paye pas de mine à l’intérieur, ce n’est pas de la déco moderne, mais plus vous avancez, plus c’est chaleureux et on s’y sent bien! Installés à table, avec deux enfants, on nous a prêté un rehausseur pour le plus petit ce qui a été parfait. En entrée, menu spécial du 31/12 : soupe de pois chiche avec le jambon fait maison et la saucisse faite maison (c’est le chef lui même qui me l’a dit non sans un air fier- il y a de quoi) une portion généreuse et c’était vraiment vraiment bon !!! Mes amis ont pris la terrine maison qui était bonne aussi. Pour le plat j’ai choisi un coquelet accompagné de frites maison (vraiment faites maison). Super bon lui aussi. Nous étions très bien reçus par ce couple qui tient le restaurant. La dame a le sourire difficile, mais ça se voit qu’elle est gentille tout de même. ???? C’est juste comme ça. En partant, j’ai jeté un coup d’œil dans la cuisine qui est remarquablement propre ! Bravo, merci et bonne année ! Si on sera encore dans les alentours, on reviendra!

Exzellentes Essen von einer kleinen Karte, täglich frisch zubereitet aus lokalen Produkten, sehr freundliches Servicepersonal, faire Preise und malerisch im Dorf gelegen.
