National museum in Nice, presenting collections covering the history of sport, with thousands of objects and documents
Lovers of sports of all kinds and curious about nature, this is THE museum that will reconcile you with culture. Created in 1963, the National Sports Museum moved to Nice in 2014 to be located near the new Allianz Riviera stadium. Fun, interactive and immersive, the site includes permanent galleries on the history and evolution of sports, temporary exhibition spaces, an auditorium, a café and a store. The collections cover six hundred years of sports history and are built around tens of thousands of objects and documents.

On comprend que Paris se soit débarassé de ce musée pour le confier à Nice. Musée sans intérêt, situé au milieu d'une vallée sinistre. Aucun travail muséal intéressant. Cet établissement ne mérite vraiment pas l'appellation de "musée". Quel gâchis !

Des objets ayant appartenu à Camille Muffat, Jules Bianchi, Marcel Cerdan sont exposés.
Il y a des parties du musée qui sont interactives (simulateur de course auto, escrime...).
En revanche, la visite est assez courte pour un musée «national»!
