This downtown spot offers particularly attractive lunchtime menus. Recipes are bold and local, like Barbajuans de Menton, a kind of ravioli made with chard, rice and cheese. A wide choice of fish and meat dishes, each accompanied by a recommended wine. Quality service. A quiet, gourmet getaway well worth trying.

Nous sommes venues pour une Smartbox et avons découvert un cadre chaleureux avec de très bons serveurs. Côté cuisine, rien à dire. Le seul bémol: quand vous passez un très bon moment et que le patron refuse à deux reprises de vous offrir un digestif, ça ne fait pas bonne impression. Nous aurions peut-être dû dépenser plus...

The restaurant atmosphere was elegant. I expected my meal and service to be the same. I ordered what I thought would be Risotto with seafood. Instead I received “tiny macaroni shells with tiny bits of ham”. I told the server that I ordered risotto. She replied, the risotto was inside the macaroni shell??? Unheard of and far from the truth. I know what risotto is and I know what a macaroni shell is as well. The server did not attempt to correct my ordered. Sad to say my 1st night’s dinning experience in Nice was a disappointment at Les Epicuriens.
