Restaurant with a large terrace offering traditional French cuisine and Mauritian specialities
Le VLT is the restaurant of the Charming Hotel La Villa La Tour - hence the eponymous name "VLT". A large terrace opening onto the pedestrian street in summer and an intimate place reinvented for winter: the decor is planted. As for cuisine, the chef offers a menu based on classics of French traditional cuisine and specialties of the Mauritius island. Designed with fresh products, the menu offers dishes such as smoked salmon blinis, tataki of bluefin tuna with two sesames, the saffron risotto with fresh scallops, sausage rougaille, black lentils, basmati rice and acars. The wine list is very thorough with good bottles from various appellations. Chimène, the hostess, will make you taste her "arranged" rum with spices, with ginger, with lychees, with vanilla peach ... The reception is particularly warm. A true ray of sunshine in the heart of Vieux-Nice.
