"A Fresh Fish Dinner with a breathtaking view of the Port of Nice"

Since 1982, this BARQUE, firmly moored in the port of Nice, has been celebrating fresh fish cooked in all its forms. The establishment has recently been taken over, and the new management is breathing new life into it. The fish menu is complemented by Italian and Mediterranean-inspired dishes (pasta, pizza...). You'll be delighted to sit on the terrace overlooking the port, or in the pleasant, blue-clad dining room. You'll appreciate the friendly atmosphere, whatever the time of day, from breakfast to afterwork or dinner.

You’ll be swayed by the location. Don’t be. We waited over 1 hr for food. Drinks order wrong. No eye contact. Chaos with the waiters. Food took so long we left.. didn’t seem to have been ordered! Must be common practise as not so much as an apology. I’ve never written a review before but this isn’t fair - REALLY POOR service. I should have known better so I advise you to stay away!
(We went to ‘Foam’ a few doors up - excellent!)

Not sure a 1 is justified for food seeing as they never gave us it after an hour and a half, servers didn’t acknowledge us during that time. Messed up the drinks order atmosphere wasn’t anything wrong but nothing good still getting a 1 due to the awful overall experience

Tres bon moment dans ce restaurant. Nous avons tres bien mangé et les plats etait tous délicieux. En dessert je recommande la tarte tatin maison, est une merveille.
