Nice address offering specialities from Nice and Provence

Here is a nice address where you can taste many specialties with the accents of the South: octopus in lemons in candied lemons, osso buco, royal sauvage filet and its thyme butter, caviar caviar and panisse fries, calf blanquette, international international with junk juice, nice poivrons, roasted peppers steeped in olive oil and wine toast… The kitchen is prepared on the order while the products are seasonal. A place oriented towards tasty cuisine daring a skilful marriage of specialities coming and Provençal which does not end up enticing the guests.

Visited June 2022 for dinner at their temporary venue, very gracious front of house that deftly managed a misunderstanding in communicating an order. Also saw a friendly attitude to other diners who were in Nice on holiday

Starter of locally sourced tomatoes was absolutely delicious, pace of service was somewhat on the leisurely side which was fine given the vibe of the setting (handwritten menus/bill, family-run team)

Excellente cuisine dans un petit restaurant bien agréable. Le service est très bien fait, le serveur est aux petits soins, très attentionné, et toujours un mot gentil...tandis que le chef très sympa. également, prépare avec délicatesse dans sa petite cuisine ses plats "faits maison ".
N'hésitez pas à vous y rendre, mais attention, il vaut mieux réserver pour être sûr d'avoir de la place.

Un petit resto où la cuisine est excellente. Toutes les entrées (salade mesclun et ricotta et un maquereau), les plats (daube de boeuf à la niçoise, une lotte, et un poulpe grillé à l'aubergine et fenouil), les desserts (tian de figues et figues braisées), le vin (j'avais choisi un Pouilly) étaient impeccables et pour notre part (moi-même mon mari, et ma fille de 8 ans) nous avons été accueillis fort civilement par un serveur très professionnel, polyglotte et cordial. Le cuisinier est venu saluer et s'assurer que tout allait bien. J'ai pu constater que nombre de clients ont été éconduits par manque de place et quand nous sommes partis, deux groupes attendaient que des places se libèrent. La clientèle est sobre, discrète à l'image des personnels du restau et vient clairement ici pour la cuisine. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant pour découvrir la cuisine provençale et niçoise.
