Refined cuisine in an ultra-trendy restaurant near the Promenade des Anglais
Refined cuisine, live music, personal attention and elegant decor: Ogram is THE new address to note in your epicurean diaries. Located a stone's throw from Promenade des Anglais, this ultra-trendy restaurant opened in May 2018. Playing on purity and elegance, the decor mixes chandeliers with pendants, contemporary lighting and design furniture where raw wood, matt black and white predominate. Named "Best Home Chef by Thumbtack" three years in a row, Chef Charly has a track record that includes prestigious addresses such as Patrick Raingeard in Monaco and Gordon Ramsay in New York. Here, he seeks to reinterpret Mediterranean cuisine in a contemporary version where fresh products are sublimated through short cooking times and full-bodied juices. Ogram also evokes this precision of cooking to enhance the taste of food as much as possible. Mastering homemade meats and foie gras to perfection, he is a master in the art of the Rossini style beef fillet, which regularly appears among the suggestions. On the menu, a touch of fusion, woks are served with fish grilled with fennel, delicious scallops in plancha with lemon white butter or even mille-feuille of beef fillet with ceps. As for dessert, it is Liliya, the owner of the place, who takes over through homemade pastries (special mention for her specialty, the Tatin pie), absolutely delicious! As for drinks, you can be tempted by the spirit of the moment with a wide choice of healthy smoothies (detox and healthy glow, slimming and energizing), or depending on the time and atmosphere, by a beautiful wine list from well-chosen producers (Domaine Toasc Bellet AOP Nice, Roc de Giraudon, Lussac saint-émilion or even Moingeon brut blanc). Ogram regularly organizes tasting evenings around truffles, foie gras, caviar or wine, while Thursday and Friday afterworks gather live music lovers around a wide choice of cocktails and gourmet tapas.

Pas les plats qui étaient au menu, vin peu frais. Impression que nous tombions sur des personnes non au courant de la carte . Nous étions d'ailleurs les seuls clients .

Plat du jour tomate farcie, on nous sert 1 seule tomate qui baigne largement dans son jus pas d'accompagnement, avec en dessert un pouding "maison" qui n'a pas de goût, insipide, la crème anglaise rattrape le coût entre guillemets
Un croque monsieur qui est a 18e avec la truffe, j'ai demander sans truffe (si on avait pas oser demander une remise vu que il n'y a pas la truffe, pas sur qu'il l'aurai fais, on l'a payé 14e du coup) toujours pas d'accompagnement hors mis 2 feuilles de salade qui se battent dans l'assiette.
J'ai commandé un coca qui nous est servi au verre qui coûte quand même 4.50e
On nous propose même pas le café.

En voyant qu'il n'y avais personne on aurai dû se douter de quelque chose.
