Restaurant offering delicious homemade pasta made with vegetables from the garden

Casa Fuego is one of the group's excellent restaurants orchestrated by three-starred chef Mauro Colagreco. It is an Argentinean grill concept. It features revisited recipes inspired by the ritual of sharing around the fire " A Piacere" . Meat lovers will be delighted by tasty matured meats, grilled over a wood fire. The culinary journey continues with Italy, which is only a few steps away...we enjoy delicious home-made pasta cooked with vegetables from the garden. Warm atmosphere and superb view on Menton.

Globalement bien. Cuisine bonne et précise. Neanmoins un service approximatif (il a fallu réclamerpour prendre la commande, pain et carte des vins). Entrée gambas bonne mais frugale pour un prix élevé.
Musique un peu forte.

A la lecture des avis publiés j'ai été assez surpris de lire autant de mauvaises critiques. Je ne m'attendais pas à celles-ci, dans un établissement supervisé par Mr. Colagreco ! Je dis bien "supervisé" uniquement car au regard de ses activités un peu partout sur la planète, il y a peu de chance que vous le rencontriez au Casafuego !
Je veux simplement ici rapporter ma très récente expérience à dîner : vue nocturne magnifique, salle tamisée et agréable, fort peu de clients ce soir-là. Alors je ne peux pas juger de la qualité du service un jour d'affluence bien sûr. Je peux juste affirmer que les plats choisis étaient excellents (j'ai particulièrement apprécié la terrine de "foie gras et canard" en 3 déclinaisons). Le service était très attentionné. Quant aux prix, et bien......c'est MENTON en panoramique et nous sommes sur la Riviera !
Pour ma part j'y retournerai sans problème.
