Listed historic monument and located in the hamlet of Danys, this fortified house of the XIIIth or XVIth century built by the monks of the islands of Lérins allowed to close the access to Cannes. This square tower of 9 m high and 5.35 m wide is the oldest construction in the Cannet preserved in its original state. It's in Prosper Mérimée that it bears the name of Tower of the thieves.
