Chalet at 1,800 m, on a plateau at the mouth of the Var and at the entrance to the National Park, surrounded by exceptional scenery. Chamois, ibex, big horn sheep, deer and marmots are to be seen. Lots of trails depart from here. The owner is a middle mountain guide. Bird and animal observation is a priority here. In winter, cross-country skiing.

Nous avons logé dans les chambres d'hôtes. Joliment décorées, confortables et accueillantes. Léonie est aux petits soins. Repas copieux et delicieux. Petit déjeuner varié. Espaces partagés chaleureux.

Absolutely magnificient and worth to stay in! As Germans without knowledge of French, we were lucky that the host/owner spoke German and English.
We hiked across nearby mountains and even summitted Mont Pelat (3058m) - 10min drive by car followed by 7-8hrs of walking up and down - which is definetly recommended and which was the highlight of our trip in the south alps.

Die Gîte Ferran war eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in denen ich bisher in meinem Leben war. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Man ist von Bergen umgeben und hört nachts außer dem beruhigenden Rauschen des Flusses nichts. Die Zimmer sind supersauber und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das gesamte Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und sympathisch. Das frischgekochte Essen am Abend ist wirklich Hammer. Wer möchte, kann sich zum Wandern sogar belegte Brote machen lassen zu einem fairen Preis. Außerdem besteht die Möglichkeit mit Esel(n) auf Wanderung zu gehen (Danke an den lieben Esel Gaston ❤️). Es gibt unzählige tolle Wandermöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Wir haben die Zeit an diesem Ort unendlich genossen und werden definitiv wiederkommen. Vielen Dank Leonie und bis bald!

Magnifico agriturismo immerso nella natura. Cibo buono ed autentico. Luogo di partenza di bellissimi percorsi.
Sconsiglio per chi ha problemi a sopportare la presenza di insetti, mosche in particolare. Sono stato ad Agosto ed erano onnipresenti.
