First, we are attracted by his forthcoming presuture. Then we pass the front door and we're convinced we've made the right choice. A cozy room, beautifully decorated, complemented by a vaulted cellar in the more intimate basement. Nicolas and Thomas have been officiating for more than five years in Old Antibes and their excellent reputation is no longer to be done. The kitchen is inventive and designed solely with fresh products from the market. It's a little bit of grandmother's recipes updated by the chef's creativity. Specialties: Sprinkler eggs and its wet-liver mouths, counter lamb, bluefin tuna crisp, white chocolate foam verrine and strawberry coulis.

Delicious shrimp starter, tuna main and dessert.

The food here is good and has been for many years. On our latest visit we were pressured to add a tip to the credit card amount- this is exceedingly rare in France because service is included (‘service compris’) by law. When we questioned this, in French, the owner said service was not included …. which I can only assume is a lie. For that reason we won’t be returning.

Food was reasonably priced (3 courses for $44) but portions are reflective of the price. Dined with my 5 year old and we ordered 2 starters, a main and a dessert to share. She ate more than half of the food served, which says a lot about portion sizes! Service was good and efficient but not the most friendly we have experienced in SoF. Would recommend for alfresco dining but due to the location, there is a lingering smell of sewage which is unavoidable. Would recommend!

Definitely worth a visit, great atmosphere in this quiet little restaurant. The menu is not too elaborate, but the tuna and the desserts were the absolute highlight.
