A self-guided tour of the Tower reveals the "stigmata" of its prison past, from the prisoners' writings to the preserved cells. Today, the Tower hosts permanent and temporary exhibitions, cultural events and activities. Its rich program makes it a veritable "Factory of the Imaginary".
