Until 1888, it was a horse-drawn ferry that allowed passengers to cross from one bank of the Durance to the other, from La Brillane to Oraison. The inauguration of the 285-metre-long Pont aux 7 Arches was marked by the presence of Frédéric Mistral, a plaque located on one of the pillars bears witness to this. Oraison was opened up from that day. The best view is from the racetrack.
