An independent bookstore, Arbousier welcomes you in two spaces, one at Lurs and the other in Oraison. The large bookstore downstairs in Oraison, in the valley is dedicated to meetings, expos and Provence. The choice of booksellers finds his place at the top of Lurs on the hill. In total, these are almost 15,000 books, Cds and Dvds that you have access to. Among the specialties are books relating to the graphic culture in direct connection with the Meetings of Lure which take place every year in August for more than 50 years. The library also brings together professionals and passionate amateurs in many other fields, as well as the literary news and booksellers' heartbeat. Meetings and animations punctuate the calendar on topics as varied as silk worms, sea rescue or the famous Elmer elephant, one of the heroes of youth literature.
