What's more, the varied landscapes of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, such as the Gorges du Verdon, the Ubaye valley and the Valensole plateaux, offer magnificent backdrops for horseback riding. Thrill-seekers can also enjoy a descent of the Crête de Lure.

Overlooking the village of Les Mées in a spectacular way, the Penitents are a natural and geological curiosity that one comes to admire from afar. These rounded and elongated rocks of imposing size were formed by the erosion of a natural material called pudding. A well-marked path will allow you to go for a walk, sometimes steep, to discover this massif which has witnessed the formation of the Alps. The fauna and flora are very rich. Wonderment guaranteed.
