This is one of the most remarkable vestiges linked to the success of the Mexicans in the Bercelonnette region. A large Gothic fantasy manor, inspired by the German castle of Neuschwanstein, built between 1903 and 1913, it is decorated with a bas-relief door-top by Clodion, representing a procession of bacchantes, and a stained glass window by Louis Balmet. Classified as a historical monument, it is now a luxury hotel. The setting, at the gateway to the Mercantour and in the heart of the Ubaye valley, is absolutely incredible. The surrounding passes are closed in winter.

Oui je prévois de revenir avec plaisir.
Petit déjeuner à 10 balles pour deux bout de pains et de la confiture.
Bref , énormément déçu des prestations.
Au niveau de la piscine, le liner se décolle, le sauna ne fonctionne pas, en panne depuis des mois .
Donc malgré le fait que j'avais adoré cet endroit, je suis déçu par l'entretien des repreneurs.

Manquaient d'ustensiles de cuisine que nous avons réclamé au service accueil et obtenu.
Petite piscine sympathique, parking couvert ou extérieur possible.
Emplacement pratique pour joindre des stations de ski comme Saint Anne la Condamine.
