Chapel at 903 m altitude, overlooking Castellane and the Verdon valley, founded in the 12th century and rebuilt in 1590 and renovated

Situated at an altitude of 903 metres and a 40-minute walk from the town, this former castle chapel offers superb views. The building in its present form dates back to 1876. It was originally built in 1703, on the ruins of a chapel dating back to the 9th century.

Très jolie balade, une fois là haut les couleurs de fin de journée sont superbes. La chapelle a été renommée récemment, c'est très réussi. Les ruines en contrebas de la chapelle sont chouette à faire également

Si vous êtes un peu sportifs, cette promenade se fera sans difficulté. Comptez environ 20/25 min aller, et tout autant au retour, avec des petites pauses pour admirer la vue tout au long de la promenade.

Je vous conseille d’avoir une bonne paire de baskets surtout pour la descente pour éviter de déraper sur certaines zones.????

Au sommet, une fontaine à eau vous permettra de vous rafraîchir ????

????Si vous avez le temps et que vous êtes curieux : une fois arrivés aux 3/4 de la balade, n’hésitez pas à prendre le chemin de gauche à l’intersection pour aller voir les ruines !
