Located in the charming, unspoilt valley of the River Sasse, the GAEC du Sasse farm in Bayons is a true mountain treasure. Rose-Marie Garcin and Florent André work passionately to bring you quality products, grown in an environmentally-friendly way. Their specialty is saffron, a precious spice obtained from the flowers of the Crocus sativus plant. Every autumn, they hand-pick the purple flowers to extract the red gold. In addition to saffron, the farm also offers a variety of fruits, such as apples, pears, apricots and plums, grown in their orchard of ancient varieties. All their products are sold at the farm and also in the "Le panier de nos vallées" store in Sisteron.
