A secret land of space and light, the Monges massif offers itself to all those who are passionate about hiking or geology. The Monges also reveal the richness of the exceptional fauna and flora of this massif of the Southern Alps. It is also a land that welcomes animals in summer: they come by the thousands in transhumance to graze the grass of the pastures surrounded by beautiful forests. Hamlets and villages (rare) have settled here with an almost religious respect for nature. This massif, culminating at 2 115 m, offers a unique panorama.
