SEWING MACHINE MUSEUM
Going to the Sewing Machine Museum is a trip over time. The private collection of Jean-Marie Ollivier is unique in the department with 300 sewing machines listed and exposed since 1830 to the present day. You will notice rare models of Peugeot, Hurtu, Singer, Pfaff, Dohis and Robert, Eeyore, Journaux, Pierre Mouth, Van Opel, Gnome And Rhone, Legat, or Rumpf machines. If the museum visits only by appointment, the clinic where the machinery is restored is open all week. It was in the workshop of Jean-Marie Ollivier and his sons, two prosthetic technicians, that models were handed over to models such as the Fridor of the 50 s and 1972 s. Of course, repairing and also maintaining more recent and sophisticated models with multiple CNC functions.
