Charming bistro offering a gourmet cuisine with simple and generous dishes.

An old-fashioned bistro, where Florent Dubois, chef and manager, chats cheerfully and simply with his guests. La Mangeoire is a place to meet and share. With its checkered tablecloths and antiques decor, the place is as convivial as the chef himself. The cuisine here is generous. One thing's for sure, you won't leave hungry. The house specialty? The tartine. Garnished and copious, Italian, Parisian or Breton, on the menu it plays elbows with traditional dishes, salads and excellent risottos.

Très bon mais attention très copieux pourles petitsmangeurs.ambiance sympathique avec une déco où on se sent bien.tres bon accueil et le chef est très sympa.

We stopped in Poitiers on our way to Bordeaux to escape heavy rain and wanted to get dinner. We decided to check out Restarant la Mangeoire and were welcomed by extremely friendly staff. The chef made us an off the menu soup that was delectable and exactly what we needed. Everyone should stop at this restaurant if you’re driving through Poitiers!

We kwamen tijdens de middag aan om een koffietje te drinken en het personeel was superonaardig. Ze rookte liever een sigaret dan ons te helpen. Hier komen we nooit meer.

La nourriture n'est pas mauvaise mais le repas est gâché par l'association de mauvaises odeurs de sanitaires, de moucherons très nombreux et d'un manque d'hygiène apparent (mouchoir usagé au sol, moisissures au mur...), le tout à un coût pas si faible.
