A place to eat healthy and travel with pokés punctuated by Caribbean and South American flavors. Lowen is the manager of Salade House Amazonia. Originally from French Guiana, the young man embarked on his entrepreneurial adventure with a relaxed, beautifully decorated salad bar. Specialties include homemade shrimp accras, chicken curry (a Guyanese recipe!) and, of course, pokés made with rice, salad or, more original, sweet potato fries. At Salade House, all marinades and seasonings are homemade (with a special mention for the family recipe for dog sauce). For dessert, let yourself be tempted by some delicious cookies. Recipes vary daily.
