LA MANGOUNE
A typical Auvergne setting offering local cuisine and traditional recipes revisited.
Located in Poitiers (near the CHU), the Mangoune is the fourth brewery of this name to open on French territory. The concept is simple: to export and discover the treasures of the Auvergne cuisine. If you know the villages Auvergne to have already tasted it, we know a little less the tripoux, yet unavoidable, la or even aligot. It's in a typically faire frame that you're going to go to the meeting of this local cuisine. More than a faire restaurant, the Mangoune is also the ambassador of the region and its culture in poitevines land. Olivier and Marlène Avrillon were able to give their establishment a soul: beams, wood, chairs in straw… Beware, the frame is rustic but not backward-backward. Traditional recipes are revisited and goût. From here you will find watering burgers from the area!
