Savoyard restaurant that prepares hearty and friendly raclettes, pierrades and fondues in Poitiers
On the south-eastern slope of our promontory, 5 minutes walk from the center, there is a Savoyard restaurant that we like to frequent on cool evenings. In this Poitou institution, which has been delighting cheese addicts for 30 years, we travel to the mountain pastures and the snowy slopes in a chalet-like setting. Skis, sleds, milk jugs, posters of famous quotes, will occupy your curiosity while copious and convivial raclettes (with the traditional device), pierrades and fondues will be prepared. An avalanche of cheese for the gourmets which will conclude, why not, by a blueberry pie. When you leave, don't forget to say hello to the house mascot: Myrtille!
