A surprising name for a winery! In the 19th century, villagers used to cook their meals in the ovens dug into the tufa rock on the property. Today, Michaël Baudon manages the family business. On his 28 hectares of vines, he cultivates 12 grape varieties: Gamay, Chenin, Pinot noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet franc, Sauvignon, Viognier... and Floreal. Open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm; Saturday, 9am to 12pm. Until 7pm from April to October. Free guided tour by appointment.

Most of the vineyard is made up of soils from the Thuronian period, represented by different stages.
In the Thuronian we find :
Stony clay-limestone (flint)
Marly clay-limestone
The aubues
For each of the soil types present, the experience of several centuries has shaped a grape variety that the studies of recent years fully confirm and recommend.
Wine-making
Vinification has remained fundamentally traditional. However, modern techniques and equipment are used to better control certain elements and to lighten laborious operations.
