Cafe-canteen to enjoy a traditional homemade cuisine based on fresh and local products in Gençay.

On the Place de Gençay, opposite the Halles, the Café-Cantine has come to life in the former Bar du Commerce. Cultural events abound: theater, exhibitions, aperitif-contés, games evenings, get-togethers, small-talk... not to mention concerts! It's fair to say that the eight associates of this unusual café have succeeded in creating a place out of the ordinary. People come here to read, have a drink, remake the world, but also to savour tasty "home-made" dishes based on fresh, local and organic produce. An atypical place with a friendly welcome.

Authentique, une soirée sympathique avec de la musique traditionnelle et des instruments intéressants (biniou vielle...)Très bonne ambiance chaleureuse, la cuisine est simple et bon marché, la bière produite en local.
