The Civaux nuclear power plant is one of the youngest in France. It is also the largest private industrial employer in the Vienne region, with over 1,300 jobs. Its annual output is equivalent to 50% of the electricity consumption of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Si vous avez de la chance tôt le matin aux alentours de la centrale vous apercevrez les fameux sangliers violet trop mignons à deux têtes.
Je vous conseille une visite plutôt l'hiver, en effet la température y est plus clémente (env. 55 degrés) que l'été (90 degrés).
Un très large choix de cancer connus et inconnus !
Pour les plus téméraires, possibilité de faire des longueurs dans la piscine de refroidissement du réacteur.
Si vous venez en voiture électrique, celle-ci se rechargera toute seule à environ 1500% de sa capacité.
