The oil mill Lépine is one of the last traditional oil mills in Poitou. Since 1810, in winter, people bring their nuts to make oil. For 8 generations now, the huge millstone of the Lépine family has been crushing walnuts and hazelnuts which are then heated to obtain a tasty oil. In the shop, Les Gourmandises d'Availles, you can buy the oils produced by the farm, flour from the cake for your cakes, spreads, as well as local products. A gourmet visit for the whole family!
