Charming hotel set in a former tenant farm in the Châtellerault countryside.
It is a smallholding, former seigniorial fief of René Descartes, whose name he took, Sieur du Perron, according to the custom of the nobility of dress. Nowadays, Emilie Thiollet welcomes you in this charming hotel with 16 nicely decorated rooms. You will discover the famous dovecote with 600 bolts, the old stones of this XVth century building, the vegetable garden, the park, its swimming pool. In the evening, a menu will be proposed to you in the restaurant. A bucolic setting conducive to rest.

Personnel très serviable.
Excellent petit déjeuner composé de produit locaux.
L'accueil très aimable, un cadre charmant et une bâtisse qui ne laisse pas indifférent. Plusieurs petits endroits et recoins offrent une chaise ou un salon de jardin pour lire, flâner et .... philosopher !
La chambre est moderne et propre dans un cadre ancien et bien équipée. La piscine, la table de ping-pong, ... on se sent bien dès l'arrivée. La palme pour le petit déjeuner présenté avec soin, avec des produits locaux, des yaourts faits maison, des confitures incroyables (confiture de tomates vertes, délicieuse !). Tout est présenté en petites portions. Le thé en vrac dans des petits pots à mettre dans des sachets de thé ... C'était fabuleux ! Je recommande pour tous notamment pour les diabétiques ou les adeptes de l'IG bas.
Chambre avec beaucoup de charme ( beaucoup plus pour les chambres haut de gamme...).
Piscine extérieure chauffée.
Le personnel est agréable et toujours à l'écoute :)
Petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de produits locaux.
Le dîner est bon avec une carte simple qui change assez souvent.
