Le Roc-aux-Sorciers is a major site in Angles, where you can plunge back into Magdalenian times and discover a unique sculpted frieze.
It is the "Lascaux of sculpture"! Our ancestors the Magdalenians chose Angles-sur-l'Anglin as the major site of their testimony. At the foot of the cliffs of Douce, a sculpted parietal frieze, unique in the world, 20 m long, was brought to light in 1950. Here are 15 000 years that bisons, horses, felines decorate the rock beside three women and a man's head. To plunge into the time of the Magdalenians, the Interpretation Center offers a film projected on a 3D replica of the shelter and a frieze "to touch". Animations take place regularly.
