Restaurant offering traditional, French-style, generous cuisine prepared by chef Luc Robin using fresh produce.
On one wall hangs a portrait of Bacchus, whose nickname gave the restaurant its name. At Lysius, a former inn dating from 1870 with a surprising facade, you can enjoy the cuisine of chef Luc Robin. With their large bay windows, the two bright dining rooms can accommodate 50 diners. You'll enjoy generous, traditional French cuisine, made with fresh produce. The menu is simple, with a focus on meat (veal kidneys in pineau are a particular favorite) and fish. The chef loves to visit the dining room!

The bistronomic restaurant "Lysius Restaurant" is located in Saint-Maixent-l'École. We invite you to discover our varied menu and wide selection of wines. Enjoy dishes such as warm goat's cheese salad on toast, grilled salmon pavé with red butter, or pear or chocolate charlotte for dessert. To accompany your meal, you'll be spoilt for choice with a wide range of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic . What's more,the restaurant offers a children's menu specially designed for under-12s, including a tasty hamburger steak, French fries, ice cream in the flavor of your choice, and a drink.
