UNIVERSITÉ INTER-ÂGES NIORTAISE (UIAN)

Created in 1987, the UIA Niortese is an association that seeks to promote access to culture, in all its forms, without any philosophical, political or religious consideration. It organizes cultural activities through trips in France and abroad, outings in the department or the greater region, or even in the city of Niort, which it is a question of discovering in their economic, artistic, architectural, social wealth... Every Thursday, a conference is held at the CGR, free for members and at €8 for non-members. The subjects, 26 on average annually, the most varied are presented by specialists, on topics as diverse as the arts, literature, geopolitics, history, the environment, social, medical, economic news or national or international events, the media, law... A soft gymnastics session is organized in the gym every week. The membership fee for 2018-2019 is €60.
